Josh & His Dad
We have recently enjoyed visits from many of our family members! Lila's Mom & Doug were able to come down for Renda's birthday in February (Pictured above at "Lost Dog Cafe" with Barbara Miller and Julie Swick). Josh's Dad and Tree came down for a weekend of MUCH fun and Scrabble (Pictured above at "Mosaic Cafe"). Lila's Dad came down to survey the progress of the bathroom...he approved, and it's still lookin good! (Not pictured above because it's not quite finished, only lacks a few last touches before the big "Bathroom-warming party we're going to throw when it's all connected and working!!) We also got to meet up with Josh's Mom and Herb in Columbia on Herb's birthday, that was special! (Not pictured above because i can't find those pics!)
Josh has been working hard to finish this last semester strong. He is being inducted in to the German Honor society next week! :) Josh has now submitted transcripts to Trident Tech and MUSC College of Health Professions. He plans to attend Tech this next year to take pre-reqs in order to apply for the Physician's Assistant program at MUSC in the Summer of '09. Josh is excited to be finishing undergrad, and very excited about learning sciences and studying medicine! We both look forward to eventually being able to go on medical mission trips together! :)
Lila is still loving her awesome job as a nursery nurse. Lila's Dad and Josh's Dad both got to see first hand the little tiny ones that Lila takes care of, as they came to visit the nursery recently. It was very fun for her to be able to show them what she really does and how amazing those little miracles are! :) Lila is very excited to see several of her friends getting married this summer (and her Mom, too, in April!), and is happy to have her wonderful Husband's arm to escort her to every single one of them (at least 5!)! She is also enjoying the beautiful Charleston Spring time and starting to exercise some, even with her sweet Husband! ;)
As summer comes up, we welcome any of y'all that may want to wander down or are passing through...come on over, stop in for a bit, we have a guest bedroom!!
